I iron all my husband's polo shirts as the drycleaners charge so much for them. I just cannot justify spending that much although I do take all dress-style shirts for them to do. I'm glad you DH gifts you in other ways - I've always told mine that I would rather have him help me out more at home than buy gifts but he seems to rather spend the money LOL.

I tell DH not to get me flowers or candy or anything for Valentine's day and he still gets flowers. I would rather just give each other a card and make a dinner together and just spend the day together and with the family. I told him Tulips if you do buy flowers, but DON"T. LOL

My DH and I do not "celebrate" Valentine's Day, either. We look on it as a day when those who don't tell each other throughout the year that they love their partner get to make up for it by buying their sweetheart something.

I'd much rather know that I'm loved year round, and I don't need a "present" for that.

I've never dry cleaned my husband's shirts - they've always been ironed by me - 21 years and counting!

i do not see how folks budget that in with rationale,
but then i wear scrubs and crocs,
hubby can wear jeans and polos
to work....
