I loved this project from beginning to end.
Well, except for the part that involved knitting the scalloped border that inspired the “dinosaur” name…but whatever. Not that I didn’t love it…it just took so dadgum long to knit.
I am a HUGE fan of cakewalk yarns…and this is the first time that I’ve been able to actually finish a project started with their yarn! The colorway is called “weenie” and it is a lovely taupey-grey color with flecks of orange, yellow, purple, and black. It is such a great fall/winter color and will be a staple in my wardrobe.
As always…a few mistakes here and there…but we’ll not discuss those!
The pattern is called Aestlight Shawl and can be found on Ravelry. It is the perfect mix of garter stitch (to show off the lovely yarn) and lacework to keep it all interesting.
All of the specifics for the design can be found {here} on my Ravelry page.
