I feel like I should be accepting an award…or making a speech…or at least something pretty monumental like that.
I finished my first sock.
And it’s everything I hoped it could be.
Except for I probably should have added about 4 more rounds on the foot.
And I probably should have ripped out the few rows up toward the top where I have that little slub…that I ignored and pretended wasn’t there.
But other than that, it IS everything I hoped it could be.
Well…except for a PAIR of socks…I did actually hope for a pair.

Congratulations!!! That's fantastic! I need to learn how to do that too someday.
WOW! Congratulations! That is further than I've gotten! I have had the same sock on the needles now for 2 years. Every now and then I try it again, then have to rip it out! The shaping always messes me up!
Congrats on your first sock!
Yes, yes!! You should. The sock is awesome!!!!
Congratulations on your first sock!!! They are pretty addicting! :) I learned to knit just so I could make socks. I have branched out a little, but they will always be my first knitting love. Your sock looks great!!! Will we see its mate in the near future? :)

Congrats on your sock. May it soon be a pair! LOL!!
Super sock, I'm sure it's mate will follow very soon
Great job. I have awarded you with the Liebster award. check my blog out.
I love your sock!! I'm envious that you figured it out too. I've tried so many times on the same sock that I've almost wore out the yarn. I think you deserve a golden Emmy award at the least -- plus it will match your sock too.
