One of my favorite things in life are the early morning hours…either before the boys get up…or right after.
I get to enjoy a cup of coffee by treelight.
Today Jack woke up after I’d been awake for only a few minutes. Thankfully he was still very peaceful and enjoyed a movie before his brother woke up.
I made sure that the stockings were “hung with care” this morning. We thought that we had lost them this year. I was frantic…but finally they were found.![]()
Nicholas woke up and went straight to the computer. I didn’t mind…because it allowed me a few more minutes of that precious morning peace…![]()
I truly enjoy my time off at Christmas time, and I love getting to perfect my role of momma/homemaker during these precious days. What are you doing to enjoy your time during these days of the Christmas Holidays?

What precious pics, Dianne.
Having been home for the last 10 years, I'm still working out how to do the stay-at-home mum thing.
I love being at home, my Nicholas has been on summer holidays for the last week & a half, so we're just doing the countdown until Christmas, making felt gingerbread man (have you seen the pattern for the gingerbread man with his arm and leg bitten off?) and wildly singing Christmas carols!
Awww, your boys are so cute! Yes, I love the early mornings as well. I'm the only one who gets up early in this family, so it's always a nice, peaceful time (except for the kitten who demands to be fed). Enjoy! Have a wonderful Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I'm headed out to spend the next 10 days with my little cuties. Enjoy!!
How am I just now figuring out you are so crafty?? Am curious - do you have a longarm machine? I have a very novice quilt I'm trying to finish before we leave for missions in Hungary and I have NO idea how to finish it off!?
I love your tree, and the way you have your stockings displayed - what a great idea!
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and successful 2011.
