Giveaway time

sweetwater buttons (2)

This giveaway has a story.

SO…apparently the random number generator has been on my side lately.

Like…A LOT on my side.  I’ve been very fortunate in the giveaway department.

Most recently I won the giveaway on Sweetwater’s blog.  They had a giveaway for some of their new cool buttons that match all of their fabric.  FUN!  SO I entered…naturally.  And I won.

But, you see, just a few months ago, they had a giveaway for some fabric labels, and I won those too.  Feeling so so so guilty for winning two things so close together, and on the same blog, I emailed the lovely ladies at Sweetwater to see if I could in turn offer the giveaway again here…TO YOU!

And they said yes.

Here’s how you can win them (3 chances to enter):

  1. Leave me a comment with how you would use these buttons.  On a bag?  On a quilt?  Keep them on the pretty card cause you’re weird like me and think that the packaging is WAY too cute to ruin?
  2. Become a follower and leave me a comment telling me about it…or leave the comment letting me know that you are already a follower.
  3. Tweet about this giveaway, and leave another comment…and receive a 3rd giveaway (retweets are A-OK!).

I will pick a winner on Friday, April 9th.

Oh, and make sure that you go visit Sweetwater’s etsy site here.  I mean, I’m gonna have to go buy some red polka dot ones, and green polka dot ones…and maybe the red Make Life Simple ones

Good luck!

Wow, you won two Sweetwater giveaways?! You won the buttons and the labels? You're so lucky!!! I just became a follower (I thought I already was but I guess I wasn't). And I'm posting this comment. Can't tweet since I don't do that. lol! As to how I'd use the buttons -- I think I'm like you. The packaging is so great! I'd just keep them that way. :D

Use those buttons? Actually use them? That might take a while! I'd have to put them up where I could admire them for quite a long while first. Eventually they would probably find their way to a tote bag.

ooh, I am a sucker for buttons! I just bought the cutest pattern for felted slippers yesterday and these would be the Perfect buttons for them!!!

PS. I had to stop for a minute and make sure that wasn't me that already commented, lol ;)

I never met a button that I didn't like! If these blue buttons were to join my collection, I think I would add some green ones to my collection as well, and design a very special quilt around them.

I visit often, and thought I was a follower. I sure am now.

Cute buttons! I can definitely see them on a bag. A white and blue bag. Maybe the blue has white polka dots?

Yes, I'm weird like you - I would keep them on the card because they're so darn cute! I may have to hop over to their shop and buy some more to keep on the card :)

You're on my blog feeds - so I'm already a follower! Maybe the luck will rub off?

Please enter me in your giveaway. I would use them when finishing one of my cross stitched pieces into a quilted wall hanging.

Oh, I NEEDED/wanted those buttons when they were offered on Sweetwater. My daughter is getting married and I have the baby bonnet she wore at her Christening, that is simply a pretty hankie with a stitch or two making it into a bonnet. I want to present the bonnet to her in a lovely little quilted bag and I could use one of those buttons to use as a closure on that bag....you know "something borrowed, something blue...etc". I could go on and on about using the other three and the package! Kristy in Ohio

Thank you for being so generous. These buttons are so cute. They would look great on a summer top.
Though the packaging is so nice it would be difficult to take it apart.

Not sure how I would use them yet but they are too adorable not to use on something.

Hmmm. I'd probably use them on a bag... for myself. Or maybe (if I was feeling really generous!) a bag for my dear friend who will be 31 soon... Maybe... :)

How generous of you to give these away! I would love to put these on a bag. You're right about the packaging, if I won these, the packaging would definitely not wind up in the trash!

Wow you have some luck. I would definitely use these buttons on a bag - after I kept them for a while so I could look at them on the card - which I would probably keep and turn into a greeting card somehow. Anyway thanks for sharing your wealth.
