on thursday last week i stayed at home with the boys, and i was able to go to Nicholas’ school program. Unfortunately I was stuck in the VERY BACK row…and this was the best shot…I emphasize the BEST SHOT…
You know…he’s the one right there…the long haired reindeer with the very non-christmas-ey sweater on… I just had a brain fart that morning, I guess.
I finished the middle of my Wild Thing quilt. Got the fabric in the mail yesterday for the border…on sale…woo hoo!…so it will go on today or tomorrow. The fabric is Santorini by Lila Tueller for Moda, and the pattern is Wild Thing by Camille of Thimble Blossoms.
It’s a bit wrinkled…and that bottom row is even…just doesn’t look it from here.
I have also been stitching a bit more this week. I FINALLY got a picture of that infamous Bluebell (Nora Corbett)…
I also pulled my Peppermint Twist out. I haven’t worked on this in MONTHS…but here’s where it stands today…![]()
Well, we’re sick at my house, peeps, so I’m off to medicate myself…and then stitch…I think :) Later this evening will be some candy making!!!!

The cross stitching is beautiful!
I use to do it all the time, but then took up jewelry and have been hooked on that ever since.
Beautiful stitching and the quilt is going to be wonderful!
Your quilt looks lovely. Those colours are just great! Your stitching also looks beautiful.
Everything looks great! I hope you are feeling better soon.
I'm so glad to took time off to go to your son's program. I work in a school, too, and know how hard it is to carve out that time.
Love all the quilts! Thanks for showing Peppermint Twist again. It reminded me that I have this chart and it would be a perfect Christmas Day start.
