Remember last post? Where I talked about all of the things that I wanted to do? Well, I’ve worked on some recently, started some… Let’s just look at the evidence:
1) Jack’s stocking: still working on this one. It’s coming along very nicely.
2) Home Dec project: started yesterday, but in my head since before we moved here over two years ago. I started painting my master bedroom.
Had to take down all of the drapes for this one. Slept with no window coverings last night, which made me feel like I was sleeping in a fish bowl. Oh, and mom, this is a fairly accurate picture of the brown…it’s PERFECT!
3) New Projects: I started a prayer shawl yesterday for a friend. No pics yet.
That’s about it on the project front, but I do want to leave you with a couple of pictures of my biggest little boy. It was a big week for him. He had his first day of homework on Monday, and he had his first soccer game yesterday. Homework was finished successfully, and the game was great. He scored a goal…and it was great!
That’s it for now. Off to church this morning and then I’m back to paint the rest of the room.

Nicholas is so cute! Love those soccer pics, brings back memories :)
Jack is coming along nicely.
Love the color for the bedroom but I'm not sure I would have slept with nothing on the windows!
What a cutie you've got there. He looks so tiny out there on the soccer field!
Jack's stocking is coming along great! Also, good job with color choice for the bedroom...love the taupe! Sounds like you're super busy...
Love that look of concentration on Nicholas' face in the soccer picture!!
The stocking is coming along nicely and I'm rooting for you to have it hung this Christmas.
Love your stocking. I'm just about finished with the one I'm working on.
Nicholas is a cutie.
I just love how determined Nicholas looks in the 2nd picture - what a cute little guy!
Your stocking is just gorgeous, Dianne!
Congrats on painting - 2 yrs is a long time to wait. I really like the color - what's it called?
A prayer shawl, what a wonderful treasure to make for a friend.
I have to disagree with you, it's not a problem but a talent.
Wow! Great projects! You will have that stocking finished in no time. I love the paint color in your bedroom. Very pretty!
Cute little one!

Cute little one!
so, did Nicholas write his name himself? I've got two grown boys here who don't write that well!
xo
Great pictures! I'm impressed with Nicholas' handwriting. My nine year old writes like a doctor LOL
I love the color you've chosen for your bedroom.
