First, thank you so much to everyone who's been leaving comments and kind words! I love reading all of them, and I do try to reply to those that I can. It's fun to share thoughts on projects, ideas, and such! Thanks!
I finished my Sultry knitting bag, and there's mistakes for sure, but overall I'm pleased. I. LOVE. these fabrics and colors, and unfortunately I couldn't get great pictures of it, but I was able to tweak these a bit to reflect the colors more accurately.

This was my first project that really used interfacing and Timtex and all of those crazy things, so like I said, there are some mistakes. If I use the pattern again, I wrote down some notes so that I would remember the things that I had to "fix" to make it work. But really, when you're sewing, you almost always have to do that, right? BTW...this picture below is the one that most closely shows the colors of the fabrics...see, pretty, huh?!

I also stitched quite a bit on Fresh Watermelons yesterday, and here's how it's looking now. I'm hoping to get this one finished up by next week! I haven't had a stitchy finish in a while now, so I'm feeling the itch to get another one in the finished pile!

That's about it for now, peeps! Today the kiddos are still at school (for a few more days!) so I'll do a bit of cleaning and shopping, and I'll hopefully get some more Watermelon hours it!
Happy Stitching!

Uh, did I hear somebody say "knitting bag?" That is too darn cute. Must.make.one.now. Is it for needles? What is the inside like?
Your knitting bag looks fantastic! Great colours and style - it turned out really well.
What a cute bag! I gave up sewing a few years ago out of frustration so I admire those that still sew. Your watermelon is getting close to being finished! I'm going to have to stitch it I think.
Excellent bag you've created!
