I'm making slow but steady progress on Wife's Prayer. I need to have this done ASAP, so I can definitely see some long nights of stitching ahead of me!!!

Today we're headed to Josh's aunt's house for some karaoke! This should be interesting!

Anniversary, Ice, and Haircut

Today is my 3 year anniversary! However, we're not celebrating big as it's the middle of an ice storm in Houston...so no dinner out :( Probably this weekend...maybe...

I gave Nicholas a haircut yesterday...and it's short! Here's a pic...

New Year and finally posting again!

Well, as I seem to always do...I have neglected to post here. So, new year, new me and I'm going to try and be more faithful to this page.

I've finished a piece recently; the September Knot from http://www.inkcircles.com. It's a freebie. I used Gloriana's Bellagio and stitched on 28ct. ivory linen. Freebies always seem to cost lots of money :) I think that I'll frame it and give it to mom for her birthday this year... Here's a pic:



I'm also working on A Wife's Prayer for my sister right now...I'm aiming to get it done for her birthday in February...we'll see...

Tomorrow it's back to work :( No more relaxing at home...
